Welcome to Ulysses Rides. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our car rental services, including premium BMW rentals, short-term leases, corporate fleet solutions, luxury vehicle hire, and bespoke driving experiences. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By reserving or renting a vehicle from Ulysses Rides, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility for Rental

• Renters must be at least 25 years of age (or as specified for certain vehicle types) and possess a valid, full driving license held for a minimum of 2 years.
• A valid credit card in the renter's name is required for all rentals.
• International renters must provide a valid passport, a valid driving license from their country of origin, and an International Driving Permit if their license is not in English.

3. Rental Period and Return

• The rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis. Late returns may incur additional charges.
• Vehicles must be returned to the agreed location at the specified time. Any changes must be pre-approved by Ulysses Rides.
• Vehicles should be returned in the same condition as received, allowing for fair wear and tear.

4. Pricing, Payments, and Deposits

• All rental charges, including additional options, taxes, and fees, will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.
• A security deposit will be required at the time of rental collection, held on your credit card, to cover potential damages, excess mileage, or other additional charges.
• Payments are accepted via major credit cards.

5. Insurance and Liability

• Our vehicles are insured in accordance with local regulations, details of which will be provided upon request.
• Renters are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period, up to the value of the insurance excess.
• Additional insurance options may be available for purchase to reduce your liability.
• Any accidents or incidents must be reported to Ulysses Rides and the local authorities immediately.

6. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

• Vehicles must only be driven by the named renter(s) on the rental agreement.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles. A cleaning fee will apply if this rule is violated.
• Pets are generally not permitted unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by Ulysses Rides, and may incur additional cleaning fees.
• Vehicles must not be used for racing, unlawful purposes, or towed by any other vehicle.
• Off-road driving is strictly forbidden.

7. Cancellations and Changes

Cancellation policies vary depending on the specific booking and vehicle type. Details will be provided at the time of reservation. Please contact us as soon as possible for any changes or cancellations.

8. Roadside Assistance

Ulysses Rides provides 24/7 roadside assistance for breakdowns and mechanical issues. Contact details will be provided at vehicle collection. Misuse of roadside assistance (e.g., flat tires due to puncture, running out of fuel due to negligence) may incur charges.

9. Personal Data

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy to facilitate rental services, process payments, and ensure compliance with legal obligations. Your data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

11. Modifications to Terms

Ulysses Rides reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
